2. பிற மொழி சொற்களை தவிர்த்தல் வேண்டும் .
3. இலக்கை நோக்கி பேச்சு இருத்தல் வேண்டும்.
4. மேடைக்கு குறிப்பு எடுத்து வர கூடாது .

தேர்ந்தெடுக்கும் முறை :

1.நேரத்தை சரியாக பயன்படுத்துதல் .
2.சரியான தொடக்கம்.
3.தலைப்பைவிட்டு தவறாத பேச்சு .
4.வார்த்தை உச்சரிப்பு .
5.தன்னம்பிக்கை உடைய , தடுமாற்றம் இல்லாத பேச்சு .
6.body language
7.பழமொழிகள் பயன்படுத்துதல் .

Hi Ramesh & Team,

I feel the topics you have choosen are really good.I have one suggestion on your rules and regulation. Please review them and if you find appropriate you can incorporate:

1. You have mentioned the time duration for junior level as 4 mins. I think its little long. I feel 2 mins will be more appropriate. Similarly 4 mins for Senior and 5 mins for Super Senior levels will be appropriate. I remember the Tamil nadu district level elocution competition for post school students is 5 mins.

Also i have few more parameters for selection criteria:
1. Uniqueness towards understanding the concept - If suppose the speaker talks things from his perspective and adds his thoughts we can award points for that. This means he is capable of judging things and thats where he stands as a good speaker.
2. Eye contact - this can be included as part of body language if you want. But good eye contact must be a separate parameter for an elocution competition
3. Using current examples
4. Ending summary - if the speaker summarizes all his points at the end of the speech we can award points. You have considered good start. It will be good if you can add good end also.

Bringing notes to the competition - this rule can be removed, no need to mention anything about this
Time duration can be reduced

The 4 pillars of Democracy are

1) Executive (Government)
2) Legislature (Parliament & State Assemblies, etc)
3) Judiciary (Supreme Court, High Court & Other Judicial centres)
4) Media (Newspaper, Internet, Blogs & whatever which expresses people’s aspirations)

Good Contribution of 4 pillars are equally important for successful democratic countries.
