Providing exclusive time to Mentors to address on Ward's need - (not Ward mentor interaction)

Hi,
This session is ward specific.
There can be a session or time slot, where the mentor can sit with their wards to equip or address the current necessity of ward. it will really help.
For ex, currently me and my ward is practicing on 'how to understand'. I am not in concentration of teaching, rather I am making himself how to understand a text reading using books, dictionaries, through friends which he is in his hands..
shortly "practicing learning process" rather than reading... some of the activities i am unable to practice through phone calls... Other mentors may also have similar problem. am proposing this session to address this gap.

Note: Don't confuse with the ward mentor interaction session. There we speak more of activities and what needs to be concentrated, his plus minus, follow up activities, diary, discussing on family issues etc.,

Hi,

I second Ravi. I am sure all the mentors will welcome this. We will definitely have few issues at the initial stage in terms of context not clear, ward is unable to determine what he wants, mentor don't have enough knowledge/exposure on the thing that ward expects, how to manage more than one ward in this session, etc. We can go ahead with this and these difficulties can be overcome on the go.

This is very important, if it is not covered in 'ward mentor interaction'.
In fact, 'how to understand while reading/learning' - we can be equipped with some tools like: book, note, story card, rough paper - all depends on the nature/style of the ward.
There might be some proven methods to adopt for this.
The session designers have to formulate atleast 4 or 5 methods/tips/guidelines, which the mentor can use along with his own ideas.
Session designer also can give suggestions on short term and long term measurements/goals on this.
